SPECIAL EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME(IN BUSINESS
MANAGEMENT)
A Business Management
Development Program (Business Essentials for Managers)
About this program
The
Business Management Development Programme (SEMP) is uniquely designed to build
participant’s capacity to lead their organisation. It will challenge their views
about business management, expand their horizons, and enhance their
understanding of the relevance and role of business managers in today’s organisations.
The SEMP will provide participants with the opportunity to refocus, to immerse themselves
in the latest thinking about best practice in business management, and provide
themselves with personal and professional tools to strengthen their
effectiveness as a business manager and leader.
The
programme provides a global context for enhancing awareness and organisation
wide thinking, from the challenges of leading change and transformation, to
working more effectively in uncertain environments and harnessing technology to
ensure that systems and procedures are optimised.
A
key feature of the programme is the Business Development Plan (BDP) which each
delegate undertakes and which runs the length of the programme. The BDP is
facilitated by a team of executives and management coaches, who work one on one
with delegates to develop competencies that have been identified through 360
degree feedback from colleagues in their workplaces.
